Send to friendPrinter-friendly version

Drupal is one of the hottest Content Management Systems on the planet.  It will help you build a web site that can be maintained with no technical knowledge via point and click using any standard web browser.  It is the foundation for many online collaborative online communities and has thousands of add-ons, many of which enable Social Media features on your web site.

Are you a Drupal Ninja?
Want to be a Drupal Ninja?
Don't know what Drupal is but hear Whitehouse.gov is now using it?

Then come to the first Tallahassee Drupal meetup!  Organized by Marc Ray of Right-Sprocket Web Development and open to all who are interested.

Time: Thursday Nov 5 6:30 - 8:30pm
Map: Google Map  (3033 Powell Road Tallahassee, FL 32308)

The group is open for anyone interested in the Drupal content management system.  Whether you are new to Drupal or an expert all are welcome to come share ideas, engage and learn.  The first meeting will be Thursday Nov 5 from 6:30 to 8:30 at The Conversation Factory.

The topic for this first meeting will be a "0 to Drupal" talk.  Basically getting your Drupal website started from scratch and learning about some of the key Drupal modules.  The topic is also open to a vote depending on the skill level of those attending.  The organizer is willing to talk on more specific topics such as Drush, Views, CCK or Themeing if they have more novice users.  The group will also set a regular meeting time and see who wants to volunteer to present at the next meeting.  In fact, if you want to present at this first meeting, simply let the organizer know.

Please email Marc Ray marc@rightsprocket.com if you plan on attending so they can be prepared for attendance numbers.
